Desso Sign Up As New Scoreboard Sponsors
The market leader in sports fields, Desso Sports Systems has become the latest company to form a partnership with the Galpharm Stadium.
Having installed its revolutionary ‘GrassMaster’ artificial turf system, at the start of the 2011/ 2012 sports season Desso decided to cement its partnership with the stadium by sponsoring the scoreboard.
Overlooking the entire stadium, the scoreboard is in the perfect position for Desso, as it looks over its impressive ‘GrassMaster’ system.
The Desso GrassMaster is a sports field made from 100% natural grass which is reinforced with Desso synthetic grass fibres, giving it the playing capacity of 3 standard natural grass pitches. Every year the company produces 3,000,000 m² of the artificial turf for football, rugby and hockey pitches as well as tennis courts and multi-functional fields.
The installation of the ‘GrassMaster’ system at the stadium has already attracted attention, with Sheffield United and the Groundsmans Association with them visiting the stadium to view and talk through the process with Operations Manager, Phil Armitage.
